Recent changes around Idaho Maryland have provided west-bound MFFYs ("me first, forget you") with a way to arrive at East Main a couple or even three cars ahead of others by abusing the lane provided for those turning right on Scandling.
Recently, one young lady, a cigarette in one hand and the other holding her mobile phone to her ear, was so determined to get ahead of me that she dangerously and illegally used empty parking spaces west of Scandling to finish passing me.
Once ahead of me, I noticed her "Impeach Bush and Cheney" bumper sticker, and this caused me to wonder about cause and effect. That is, are citizens irresponsible due to poor government, or is it the other way around? I suspect the latter case is correct.
