- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 August 2007I don't normally like these "Dummies" books, but I enjoy Zig Ziglar's writing style so I gave this a go.
From the beginning I was hooked: Ziglar loves to tell a good story, and he tells them well here, to back up his theories of success, goals, planning and personal responsibility.
Zig is an eternal optimist, and if you can cope with this slightly cheesy, American-style book you will enjoy reading this. It is packed with good advice.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2006Having read quite a few motivational and inspirational books, this one, I have to say, presents the material in an easy to read and understand way. The way the author explains things and shares his own personal experiences is excellent. I would highly recommend this book as a place to start for anyone looking to realise thier dreams and aspirations.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 March 2013Zig Ziglar was a leading American motivational speaker, and the book reflects this. There are many useful ideas and insights, and overall the book does what it offers: motivates and inspires. In my view, you need to set the direction yourself, but having done so, this book will help you find the necessary enthusiasm and drive to keep going for what you want.

5.0 out of 5 stars It is an amazing book, I will recommend it to anyone who is losing grip of his or her responsibilities.
I gave it a five star rating because, after buying as a gift for a friend, (who was not motivated toward anything and therefore, lost control on most of her responsibilities) it motivated her positively and the changes was tremendous. It's the same effect I had when I first read success for dummies about nine years ago before losing that copy . I would recommend it to anyone especially younger people who will like to chart a path for their lives

5.0 out of 5 stars
