6th Annual Taste of Bird Rock. Come enjoy live music as you stroll along La Jolla Boulevard sampling food from our Bird Rock restaurants. Receive discounts to several Bird Rock boutiques. Kids will enjoy face painting, balloon artists, a jumpee and petting zoo. Just like last year we will be closing the boulevard from Midway to Camino de la Costa. At the event, City Council President Scott Peters will host a ribbon cutting to recognize the new look of La Jolla Boulevard. The ribbon cutting will take place at around 6pm at the Forward Street roundabout.
