Palanpur Samaj Kendra - Women's Forum organised a cooking demonstration on April 21, 2011 at Shanti Bungalow, Mumbai

The chef who conducted the demonstration, Ms. Sandya Chander, is a graduate from International Hotel Management (Switzerland). She heads the Cilantro Kitchen's workshop division which caters to executive lunches for office goers. She also holds cooking classes -- and to carry her passion for cooking forward, she is working on an Indian fusion cookbook.                                                                                                                     

The demonstration saw her dishing out eight mouth-watering, low-calorie delicacies -- starting with a nourishing salad and ending with a yummy but nutritious dessert.

The items were Mango Salsa, Tomato-Pasta salad, Dimsums with dipping sauce, Lettuce Wraps, Caribbean Rice, Thai Yellow Curry, Mexican Pinwheels and Fruit Yoghurt Parfait.

The event was well attended and it was an exciting culinary experience.
