ABC has picked up another half-hour pilot.
The Last Days of Man is a multicamera comedy from writer Jack Burditt.
The plot centers on Tim Fitzgerald, a guy who is fighting for his manhood in a world that is being increasingly dominated by women and that has declared the traditional man an “endangered species.”
Man comes from 20th Century Fox Television and Lost Marbles.
The network previously picked up Suburgatory, the dance-themed Grace, the police drama Partners, Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apt. 23 and the Charlie’s Angels pilot. ABC is also developing an eight-part Wicked miniseries with Salma Hayek based on the best-selling book by Gregory Maguire.
