Please follow all the rules and read them all completely. If you are found breaking a rule, you will have to pay the consquences.
Our System: If you break them, you will be warned. If you do it again, after being warned at least three times, you will be banned. If you do it once more, you will be deleted. We want dragons of this site to follow the rules, so read them, listen, and you will have a great time here.
OOC
-- One of one of the most important rules: You Abuse It, you Lose It! Which means, you post useless, sarcastic messages, you will lose the right to post. We don't put up with garbage. You use up your chances, you don't get another. I know it sounds harsh, but it has to be done for some people.
-- No porn pictures or anything that involves it; links, pictures, or words. It is disgusting. In fact, if you enjoy that sort of thing, we don't even want you here.
-- No negative comments or insults.
-- Remember OOC is entirely different from IC. Do not hold grudges or stay mad at someone because of something they did during a Role-Play. Even the most evil characters can be good people in Real life.
-- No going into other’s accounts, unless you had permission
-- No spamming. Period.
-- No flooding what so ever. Admins will find out if you do have more than one account
-- If you want to advertise, do so on the appropiate board.
-- Admins have the right to make up more rules and post them here at any time
Chat-Box Rules
-- No spamming.
-- No flooding.
-- Cussing is allowed, just don't do it excessively.
-- No negative comments or insults.
-- No impersonations.
-- No advertising.
-- Violating any of these means being banned by IP address from the chat-box.
Joining
-- First, always post your Biography! You must use the form provided. Then you may roleplay at any time, it doesn't have to be accpeted right away. An admin will look over it, and if they say it is not acceptable, you must retry.
-- Be original with your character. Use your imagination!
-- Please stay away from cliches! The 'I am so evil and have a black color' gets old. Be realistic.
-- You may have as many characters as you want, but their names must be displayed in your signature
-- You must read the Dragon Life Cycle post, otherwise your time here will be harsh
-- Please be active!
IC
-- Please, no god-moding or power-playing.
-- Posts must be at least two lines after typing. I know it is hard to keep it sometimes: we all have writier's block. But we expect you to be literate
-- No swearing. Try to keep it low for younger members.
-- There are no 'god' dragons/sub-species on this site
-- Absolutely NO OOC only post in an RP. If you wish to join an RP that is already active, or simple ask something about it, either RP a member of the RP, or the person whom the question is directed to.
-- Try to be literate with proper grammar and no chat-speak
-- You are allowed to be in more than one place at one time
Claiming Lands
-- You can claim lands, but can be fought for them
-- Ranks are according to what you allow
-- Leaders can be over thrown.
-- Leaders receive three day challenge-immunity after a challenge. Example: If Bob was challenged and won, he doesn't have to fight again for three days. Example 2: If Bob was challenged and lost, the new leader doesn't have to fight for three days.
-- Overthrown leaders may challenge for their lands again after a month. They can, however, challenge the leader of a different land one day after they lose.
-- Treat your Leaders and high-ranking members with respect
Fighting
-- Do not come out of battles without cuts or wounds. It is unrealistic
-- Fights can be held anywhere
-- Dodging every move and always being able to wound your enemy is considered god-moding. And that is against the rules.
-- Try to be descriptive. Don’t just say. “The dragon cut the other dragon.” Say what you intend to jump at, in what direction, amount of force, claws, teeth, etc.
-- Admins will observe the fight and possibly judge who wins if you want
-- Fights don't HAVE to be judged by a staff member, the two opponents can try to sort it out if they wish
-- Fights can be held over anything
Magic
-- First off. The Magic on this site is going to be made as rare as possible by using a random number generator
-- A number will be picked at random between 1 and 100. If the number that is chosen for that given character is 90 or higher, it can use magic. If not, it can't. It's that simple
-- Only results that have been posted in a character's thread by The_Count, are valid. If you post your own number in your thread, then the character will never be allowed to have magic
-- Plot characters automatically receive magic if the controller of the character wishes it
-- A character using magic that has been deemed incapable of using magic, is god-modding, and is punishable by ban.
Hunting
-- Be realistic! A wyrmling cannot kill prey larger than itself
-- Prey animals may change with the seasons
-- If you have to be graphic, put a warning in the title
Mating/Birthing
-- You are allowed to have a mate, but you don't have to have one to enjoy this site
-- If it must be graphic, put a warning in the title. I.e. [R]
-- If two dragons breed, post their stats in the breeding glade and wait to receive your offspring's statistics.
-- Force Breeding is not allowed!
-- Birthing is to happen in the female's homeland. Number of eggs laid are according to what species(see chart in Life Cycle post)
-- Females lay their eggs in one Real Life day, and the eggs take one Real Life day to hatch after laying
