Motorcyclist injured in accidentBucks County Courier Times BENSALEM - An unidentified man was injured when his motorcycle and a sports utility vehicle collided in Bensalem Sunday night. The motorcyclist, who police said appeared to be in his mid to late 20s, was traveling northbound on Knights Road north of Street Road at 7:30 p.m. when the SUV pulled out onto the street, police said. The two vehicles collided, leaving the mangled motorcycle lying in the middle of the road near the Bucks Meadows apartments. Authorities said the motorcyclist suffered head trauma and possibly broken bones. He was transported to an area hospital by the Bensalem Rescue Squad, according to police. No one in the SUV was injured, police said. Authorities had temporarily closed a portion of Knights Road, which reopened within the hour. Police are still investigating the accident and further information was not available late Sunday. April 21, 2008 5:10 AM
