The Rifton Chair is a youth positioning chair designed for use with children with physical disabilities. This wooden chair enables the child to sit properly positioned with his or her feet on the floor as a first step to making more independent transfers. This height-adjustable wooden chair features a contoured seat and backrest, a hip strap that clips into the chair at a variety of positions to meet user needs, and removable height- and angle-adjustable armrests. The seat depth is adjustable. Models R501, R502, and R504 have standard backs and models R503 and R504 have high backs. OPTIONS: Mobility base, tray, vertical handholds, footboard with straps, foot wedges, headrest, padded armrests, seat and back pads, and more. SIZES: Model R501 is a small chair, models R502 and R503 are medium chairs, and models R504 and R505 are large chairs. DIMENSIONS: The small chair frame is 19 inches wide. The seat width is 12 inches with armrests and the back height is 14.5 inches. The seat height above the floor adjusts from 7.5 to 10.5 inches abd the seat depth adjusts from 8.5 to 11 inches. The medium chair frames are 21 inches wide. The seat width is 14 inches with armrests and the standard back is 13 inches high, while the high back is 18.5 inches. The seat height above the floor adjusts from 10.5 to 14.5 inches and the seat dept adjusts from 11 to 15 inches. The large chair frames are 24.5 inches wide. The seat width is 17 inches with armrests and the standard back heigh is 17 inches and the high back is 24 inches high, The seat height above the floor adjusts from 13.5 to 17.5 inches and the seat depth adjusts from 14 to 18.5 inches. CAPACITY: The small chair has a capacity of 75 pounds, the medium chairs have capacities of 150 pounds, and the large chairs have capacities of 225 pounds. COLOR: Natural wood.
