This beautiful boudoir or bed doll is a real stunner. I found her just this week and had to list her right away so I wasn't tempted to keep her for myself. She has a beautiful face and lovely French lady clothing. She has a peachy pink satin dress and hat with silk ribbon accents including silk ribbonwork rosette trim on her hat. She has composition head, arms, and legs. I must confess that I don't collect dolls, so if you have questions, please make sure you ask them and I will answer them as best I can. She seems to be in very good shape. She does have a couple of tiny cracks in the composition on her face-not too distracting, but they are there so if that's an issue, please don't bid. Her worst feature is her hair, which seems to have seen better days, but because of the way the deep collar of her dress comes up around her face, it really isn't terribly distracting in my opinion. She has a tiny pin hole on her right cheek as you look at her. Having stated her faults first, you really need to look at the pretty pictures because she is a beauty. Her big provacative blue eyes and red lips beckon you to join her and kick back in the boudoir. Her dress is perfect and the lace that accents it is quite lovely. Her little fingernails are even painted red. She sports black pumps which are, best I can tell, attached permanently to her feet (no lost shoes here!). Her body, except for head, arms, and bottoms of the legs, is cloth. Measures 27 1/2 inches tall.
