WELCOME!

A hearty welcome is extended to the entire Geneva Point Center family, new friends and neighbors from near and afar.

GPC (or WINNI to many Camp Family alumni) is offering some wonderful volunteer opportunities and needs lots of helping hands to provide some well-earned TLC.

We invite you to volunteer your gifts and skills and to join us for our first ever "Spring JAG." (Mystified as to the meaning of a JAG ? No worries – all will be revealed on your first day of volunteering in the spring!)

Our Spring JAG 2008 is designed to start on May 21 and conclude by June 15. When it's finished, all volunteers will be invited to our Appreciation Party and Open House on June 15 to launch our 2008 Summer Season.

Two categories of volunteer positions are being offered:

a) Work Parties – from 1-2 days
b) Vacation Volunteering – from 1-3 weeks

Independent volunteer positions are open to people from 18 years old and upwards ...currently the oldest is a spritely 95 years young!

Like to bring your family? We have family friendly projects available!

Are you an organized youth group with your own supervision? Great, come and meet other groups that have already signed up!

Volunteers will have ample opportunity to choose a project that they will enjoy and that will enable them to make the most of their gifts and skills.

Volunteering at the Spring JAG 2008 will give you the chance to meet new friends, choose your ideal job – for a change! – and learn new stuff. Here at GPC, you'll find that you have "bosses" who remember how and when to say a simple "thank-you" and we’ll provide a fair day’s remuneration package in expectation of a fair day’s work.

Offered to all our volunteers are free beds, meals, tea breaks (aka coffee breaks) and entertainment after "work" at a lakeside, 200-acre, 3-beach, 80-building, home-away-from-home.

In addition to GPC housing, a limited number of RV sites are available for our JAG volunteers.

Now, to the first step in your plan to participate, registering your interest...
