Youth Survey

As you may know, we have successfully adapted our Emotional CPR program for youth aged 16-25. We are now working on a curriculum for youth aged 5-11. We would greatly appreciate your participation in a survey that we have designed to better understand the needs of children in this age group concerning learning and mental health. Your valuable insights will enable us to create a curriculum that is both responsive and effective in meeting the unique requirements of this age group.

Monday, March, 4, 2024 from 1pm-2:30 pm ET in Spanish

Presented by Juan Vélez Court.

Below is the webinar description:
Finding a place to work where you feel a sense of belonging is essential for most people, including peer workers who may have a history of facing discrimination and exclusion throughout their journey. What happens once you find that place? You connect with other individuals that may or may not have a recovery story. It's the interpersonal communication with each other that can lead to a healthy and productive environment. This training is designed to share practical strategies and perspectives to support a Peer Specialist to establish healthy boundaries, strengthen their soft skills, and identify proactive ways to engage with co-workers who don’t identify as people in recovery, as well as interact with peer staff that have different perspectives and opinions than oneself.
