If anyone goes to Moveon parties today at 7 see http://action.moveonpac.org/future/ , they can use this post to organize for a media action to get media attention of the vote fraud issue(see below). Btw ,the petition I sent out recentlywhich asked the Ohio Sec of State Blackwell to recuse himself from any "recount" activities did NOT mention that he should ALSO recuse himself from being the final aribiter to determine which provisional ballots will be counted (this is seperate from the recount and happens first). To send an email or call Blackwell urging him to recuse himself from the counting of provisional ballots see the first action on this list, and check the entire list for more actions to help investigate vote fraud and facilitate recounts http://stolenelection2004.com/alerts.html (If it doesn't come up now, check later and keep checking since this site is continually updated) Thanks, Cheryl

This initiative is from a coalition of peace and justice groups in the San
Francisco Bay area. It originally was sent Friday. Consequently the
suggested actions would need to be accelerated to occur Sunday (today) ,
Monday, and Tuesday. I paste from an attached document:

Stand Up & Speak Out NOW !

National televised Speak Out against Voter Fraud

___________________________________________________________________

Thanksgiving Weekend

Seven Simple Steps:

1. Organize groups at the MoveOn event of all people willing to go to
local & national TV stations on Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday. Exchange
complete contact information so each person can contact all others.

2. Plan which TV station(s) will be visited and at what times, and
contact them. Mornings are best. Communicate with contact persons listed
below to identify group and what it will be doing.

3. Get Press Packets with up-to-date information of studies and links
that the media can use from the contact persons listed below. Carefully
review the material & websites before events.

4. Contact all local media in two days in advance to cover your
event(s) live (print, cable, etc.). Thanksgiving is a slow news time so
they are likely to be receptive.

5. Ask each member to think in advance of a simple, clear, concise,
courteous, and compelling statement (three to five sentences) they could
make to the media. Speak from the heart as well as the head.

6. Wear black armbands and dress so you look as credible as you are.
Take names and notes and a few photos at events.

7. Communicate promptly with contact persons after event(s) so local
and national momentum can be built.

Together we can change the way it is !
