I am very pleased to announce that our humble Mashable Awards has grown thanks to a great response to our partnerships offer. The renamed Open Web Awards is an upcoming online contest for social websites supported, promoted and judged by more than twelve top blogs and blog networks. (Wanna join these blogs? Click the button below!). This makes the Open Web Awards the first ever online, open collaborative awards event.

Who can win? Any company running a new social website, social network, collaborative site or web application. In other words: almost all the new applications on the web, and many of the established ones that have added a spot of Web 2.0 flavor.

For those that want to coast on the momentum of this huge online event and real world awards ceremony in San Francisco, there are plenty of sponsorship opportunities now open.

Depending on the level of sponsorship, your company can get logos and links on all Mashable's Open Web Awards articles, inclusion in promotional materials, a sponsor table at the Open Web Awards ceremony, signage at the ceremony, rotating projected logos at the ceremony, distributed advertising across partner sites and much, much more.

Nominations
