WiesnerMedia sells financial publications

Summit Business Media LLC has purchased WiesnerMedia LLC's financial group of business-to-business publications and marketing services for undisclosed terms, Summit said Wednesday.
Financial publications acquired by Summit include Senior Market Advisor, Boomer Market Advisor, Benefits Selling and Bank Advisor magazines.
Centennial-based WiesnerMedia's marketing services and products offer information on sales, marketing and best-practice techniques for bank, benefits, financial and insurance advisers.
The deal also includes Wiesner's ProducersWEB.com website, Advisors Data Source database and two events ‹ the Benefits Selling Expo and Senior Market Advisor Expo. "These assets complement Summit's existing B2B media platform, now with 25 magazine titles, 150 reference books and electronic products, and 100 live events," Summit President Andrew Goodenough said in a statement.
WiesnerMedia retains its business division, which sells publishes magazines such as ColoradoBiz and Trucking Times, as well as its custom publishing branch, whose magazines range from Trailblazer and Home Builder to Successful Living and EnergyBiz.
Summit's WiesnerMedia properties will continue to be based in Denver, and report to Tom Fowler, executive vice president and managing director of Summit's media division.
Betsy Kominsky, former vice president and publishing director for Wiesner Media, has become vice president and group publisher of Summit's market advisor group.
Jeff Schottland, vice president and director of ProducersWEB.com out of Philadelphia, now also reports to Fowler.
WiesnerMedia, started in 1980s, publishes several types of magazines -- from ColoradoBiz and Corporate Apparel to Trucking Times for the light-truck industry. Dan Wiesner is CEO.
