Before you begin the MP, you must read and thoroughly understand this guideline. Print out the guideline so you can refer to it often.

The second and third phase guidelines are available to study participants upon request at completion of phase one.

Your physician has access to all guidelines in the Private Section for Health Professionals.

Read this Safety Warning

Give this Letter of introduction to your doctor

Review the items on this checklist.

Please note:

-It is the patient's responsibility to see that the prescribing doctor is following the MP correctly.

-It is the patient's responsibility to see that the prescribing doctor understands the effectiveness of the MP and the dangers inherent in deviation from the guidelines.

-Combining other protocols with the MP will not work and can lead to dangerous immunopathology.

Marshall Protocol Checklist


Before you start the MP, be sure to do the following:

-Ask pre-MP questions at http://CureMyTh1.org

-Review Inclusion criteria for participation in ARF phase II clinical study of the Marshall Protocol?

-Read the Safety Warning

-Print out the Phase One Guideline and study it

-Read Frequently Asked Questions About Benicar

-Order NoIRs sunglasses....both 2% and 10% (do not start taking Benicar without them)

-Discontinue medications recommended to avoid

-Discontinue alternative treatments and most supplements

-Obtain an adequate supply of Benicar

-Be sure you have the right kind of Benicar

-Assess your level of 25-D (See The Importance of Reducing 25-D) There is no level of either 25-D or 1,25-D which must be achieved before you begin the Marshall Protocol.

-Modify your environment. (See How to Avoid Sunlight and Bright Lights)

-Obtain a 30 day supply of minocycline

-Read Why and when do you recommend taking minocycline frequently?

-Reduce your 'workload' if possible so you can stay indoors during daylight hours. See Why does exposure to natural light increase symptoms?

-Read Helpful Hints For Those on the Marshall Protocol

-Enlist the support of family and friends. See Personal, Family, Relationship Tips
