They're wild animals, what makes people think they can do this to them. I would just love to punch each and every one of them in the face. How would they like to be made to scream? Arseholes. Poor elephants...sick people.
OMG they shot the poor elephant, just because they are not humans it doesnt mean we should treat them any diferent than how we treat people.they have a heart, they have feelings, they have bones.Dont be shoving electric prods into them.I used to love circuses then i learned what they do to the animals. That elephant had a right to atack those trainers. But that man didnt have one to shoot the elephant. They should have seen that coming.I hate seeing animals being abused.please stop!Whos with me?!?!?!?
Until now i have never wanted to acknowledge how bad animal cruelty can be! They need to show this to more people because i can guarentee society don't know the extent of cruelty to these animals! They get revenge and then we kill the animals how is life fair! Kill the people commiting the cruelty!
i'm going to a circus alright, but not to watch the poor animals getting abused, but to CUSS out those abusing trainers!!! And Bring a Huge MOB with me and attack the trainers!! Me And About 2oo Kids At My School Did That When KFC was Abusing The Chickens! I Fight For Animal Rights!!
This is why everyone should refuse to go to any kind of circus ..... because of dumb hillbilly's that think they can make a profit off of another life!! I honestly am not surprised when an animal turns on humans. They deserve it!!!
those elephants had no right to be shocked and have hooks dug into them just to let a frickin' family ride on them, and be humiliated with kids and peanuts... the humans got what was coming to them.
Although I am a member of the organization, that does not mean that I agree 100% with all of PETA's decision making. They are an organized corporation. I am not. I placed this video on here for the sole purpose of education.
From PETA: Behind the scenes, elephant trainer Tim Frisco instructs would-be trainers how to dominate elephants and make them perform circus tricks. "Sink that hook into 'em. When you hear that screaming, then you know you got their attention." An elephant trumpets in agony as Frisco's bullhook, with its sharp metal hook and spiked end, tears through her sensitive skin. Frisco, a Carson & Barnes elephant trainer, learned the trade from his father, a former trainer for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
The fact is, animals do not naturally ride bicycles, stand on their heads, balance on balls, or jump through rings of fire. To force them to perform these confusing and physically uncomfortable tricks, trainers use whips, tight collars, muzzles, electric prods, bullhooks, and other painful tools of the trade.
We applaud trapeze artists, jugglers, clowns, tightrope walkers, and acrobats, but let's leave animals in peace. Sweden, Austria, Costa Rica, India, Finland, and Singapore have all banned or restricted the use of animals in entertainment—it's time for the U.S. to do the same.
