As you might have heard there are about 1-2 million people who have
been affected by the Bihar disaster. We are just about to start
responding to Bihar and a team in Kolcuta (Calcutta) has just been
initiated for the deployment effort.

optimize on your skills and experience. Please answer this as you

1) How you wish to contribute to the sahana-bihar effort?

instance  at EDRS (https://edrs.nursix.org/sahana), that can be customized 
and applied for any purpose in this disaster.

I personally like the approach we took with INSTEDD in customizing
Sahana in a virtual machine. We can then send this virtual machine and
clone it as many times as required for the disaster.

I recommend VM Server now that is available for free or alternatively
VirtualBox.

Dominic,
I got a volunteer working on the translation. How do I get him to add words?
Or even change the words.
He tried Changing one of the translations I made and clicked "Suggest"
'Unknown error in updating configuration value.'
Is what he got.

Any idea what is wrong?

There is nothing wrong with it.

'Unknown error in updating configuration value.' is just the next string to be 
translated, it belongs to Sahana.

If one makes a suggestion, this would not appear as translation until a 
maintainer has verified it. If YOU log in and click "Review Suggestions", you 
will see the suggestions made and can confirm it by clicking "Accept".

That's all.

Let him go on making suggestions.
