Aleaneplith: The Noble Line of the Forest

As Adar, the first man of Earth, awoke in the forest of Sekar and found the sleeping woman Kamir,
Casis and Nova lies in the enchanted canopy of Amon, the arch of the elven lineage.

In the first history of life, one can find the strong bond of nature and humanity,
of powerful men and of wise elves.

The growth and triumph they both share lured the golden earth in its flourishing moist and vast greenery and blue.

They bestow names to all things as great brothers, from beast to timber, seas and oceans, sky and air, twain they adjudge.

In the midst of darkness there's no more stronger than their kinship as they both sought for light.
In arms and shields they conquer, with swords and spears they protect.

The strength and the skill they render useful as one of the other.

In harmony they breathe and pro-create, a million and thousand scores.

But as times pass and suns and moons turn, the tide and breeze change phase.
Man and Elf, found a fork in the path of existence, nature as being the caused in essence.

Man argued to harness the forests for vast resources, the Elf fights to sustain its serene beauty in boldness. Both stood their conviction and thus both heart took separate ways.

Man who easily forgets and Elf who easily forgives co-existed in the Earth they both live.

Started as my breathing ground from A Part of It and I ended up making it into a full plegde story.

Lady Ingrid

The girl-in-waiting at the foot of my bed beamed a morning smile at me.

“Good morning, Mathilda!” I gave her a sunny smile and thus making her blush.

“Good morning Lady Ingrid!” Her springy voice was evident as she hurriedly went to my side and helped me to my morning robe. Her small hands were a bit shaky as a sign of great nerve creeping in to her unexperienced senses.

I lightly touched her hand in hope that I may appease her stress.

But it must have been too much for her that she was dragged into a dreamy trance as she stared at my face. And it would have been like that for longer if not for the gentle knock from my bedroom door.

In stark awakening, Mathilda jumped and with blistering red face got confused on what she had to do.

“Greetings for Lady Ingrid!” The voice of the morning stewardess called making her usual morning visits.

“Daeon, come in.” I softly called.

The two-door entrance opened with the least effort on Daeon's face. Wearing her usual white and blue-ish dress, she walked without making any useless sound with her hands calmly resting over each other.

“Good morning Ingrid.” She gave me her timid smile and a swift curtsy which I answered curtly as she turned to the still awe-struck girl standing beside me, clutching the sash of my morning robe. “How are you doing, Mathilda?”

“L-lovely, Lady D--daeon.” I lightly tapped her hands again which she adoringly received with a thankful smile.

“Very well.” Daeon said eyeing me solely. “You're relieved for now, go prepare you're Lady's bath.” And the startled girl jumped up and with still confused eyes scuttled away.

When the bathroom door finally closed that was when I slumped back into bed, sprawling my hair and the undone robe carelessly.

“How many times do I have to tell you to stop playing around with the new abigails?” Daeon whose face were all serene moments ago turned into her fierce cheek that I am most familiar with.

“But she was soooo cute! Did you see her blushing?” I laughed as I rolled on my bed, rustling the covers I hurriedly fixed earlier before Mathilda came into my room.

It had been my habit always to appear graceful and elegant to all my new ladies-in-waiting. Every morning before they come in I would wake up early to fix myself up and the bed, looking pristine and all. The real me in the mornings is of with messy hair, tangled by my not-so-lady-like sleeping that rumples all the sheet up to the based coverings.

“The poor girl will lose her sanity if you keep that up.”

“Oh, c'mon Daeon. It wasn't that bad.” I flail my arms and legs on the bed in an attempt to leave the impression of a snow angel on the silk white sheets.

“You're language, Ingrid.”

“It's not like someone else can hear me.” Daeon is my strict enforcer of formal speech, she always castigate me whenever I use coloquial words that most of the people use nowadays.

Daeon heaved out a sigh.

“Every waking day, you seem to be harder and harder to manage Ingrid.”

I hopped out of bed and gave Daeon a hug.

“And I'm thankful for that each and every day!”

Moments later I was already dipping my legs to the perfectly heated tub that Mathilda prepared. The lavish scent of raspberry filled my nose as she scamples to tidy up fresh robes and my uniform.

I took my time, literally. Taking minutes in just stroking my legs letting my little abigail stare in awe. Amazed by the beauty she saw for the very first time. If not for another knock and knowing cough that Daeon gave out after an hour, I would have stayed there and continued to tease Mathilda. And just like what Daeon scolded me about, drive her insane.

With careful hands I gracefully toweled myself dry and finally listened to Daeon's request, I refused Mathilda's help. I should not push her more than the edge.

All my ladies in waiting suffered the same. Mathilda wasn't the first, they all were helplessly lured by my beauty, a beauty that even women can't deny as magnificent truth.

I am Lady Ingrid from the House of the Healers, Rilyntylar,
a direct descendant of Alfred the Wise Counsel from the Noble Line of the Dragons, Aleanathem,
the first race of Elves to cohabit with the humans after the Great Separation.

Very unique story you've got here. Hindi katulad ng mga sterotypical stories here in CC. Mahirap lang tandaan yung mga names/terms. Nakakaloka.  Grin Please update more in A Part of It. Ang ganda talaga nun.  Smiley

Lady Ingrid::

For thousand of years to date, my family is one of the council members that governs the Elven Circle in the Ministry of Human Living, a high and powerful sphere amongst the Aleanathem. And I being the only daughter of my father amongst his brood of five lived a life most fitting.

Having experienced seventeen summers now which I fervently enjoy with all the material things that my family provides, I declare my life as an immaculate haven that everyone ought to envy.

I ate my morning meal alone at the sun room, a lot of times Daeon complained about my choice of room for dining but after quite a long time she finally resigned to the fact that her Ingrid will always have her way, well almost.

With refined steps I crossed the hall up to the foyer with Mathilda following me. The cleaning ladies were already well on their way to finishing up the morning duties gave me low curtsies as I pass them by.

“Good morning, Bael!” I called out to my second eldest brother as he enters the Hall of Dust, as how I fondly call our gigantic library. He gave me a wave and a little smile.

Out our pristine white mansion is a fauna of all sorts. My father who stepped out of the recluse life of the Mirkwood forest opt to clad us in green and all colors by planting and tending a whole two acre of forestry for a front yard and not to mention another five for the backyard. The size of our habitat is enough to get a lion lost on its way.

I walked out the yard up to where the car that will bring me to school is parked, a 1949 Plymouth Suburban station wagon painted and waxed to perfection with the shiniest rims and tires partnered by  untinted windows.

“Morning cupcake!”

I looked up and found the sweet culprit of my morning, Kan, my third elder brother looking down from the balcony of his room unshirt and with tousled hair enough to bring down any hair advertisement in sight.

“Good morning, Kan!” I waved, timid as usual in continuance of my graceful act. Kan burst out laughing knowing of the farce I'm doing but was immediately cut short when his steward appeared. Well, he's morning is just about to start as well.

~~~
The drive to the school didn't take long, and before I knew it I was being surrounded by the usual crowd eager to look at Lady Ingrid. But though everyone was ogling over me, no one dared to touch. The all for crowd Ingrid was left alone inside the car, all that is in me is the rowdy Ingrid.
I turned at the next corridor as less and less people look at me. I pushed the door of the third hall and found four other bored looking people sitting and drinking whatever.
The people I belong with.
We have no names to call ourselves aside from the ones we already had upon meeting each other, we know nothing of the labels the crowd gives us, we refuse to be named or we simply just don't care. In this room no one gets the usual dumb struck stares for all we are. No one blushes and not one gets nervous.
Gare
In a campus with a thousand and ninety-six students, us five are of the highest league. A pedestal we didn't even tried to get and was immediately put upon our feet.
“How are you doing my beloved?”
“Cut the crap, Ingrid. You're late again.” Nimal, the guy with the fairest skin among the group and sitting by the window window, spatted at me. Though each of his suicidal fans deemed him as the quiet and mysterious guy, he's nothing but a brute clad in gold.
“My, my, my. Out for an early start, aren't we?” I walked up to the side table by the left wall as to where the flower tea lies in wait to be prepared and drank.
“Always doing your frivolous graceful act.” I heard Nimal mutter, still whinning about my late arrival.
“You're not one to talk babe.” I flashed him a smile as I made my way to the center of the room and sat with Amaly who's reading as usual.
“Don't call me that f*cking name!” I laughed at Nimal being so use to his usual rumblings.
“Drop it, Nimal!” Gare said in his usual calm yet deadly voice and though Nimal was well on his way for a tiff, Gare managed to calm or shut him up.
I can't help but stiffle my laugh and I felt Amaly nudge me on the side without appearing to take away her attention from her beloved book.
“Aww, sh*t!” A loud scream suddenly boomed that was coming from the single sofa. With nose always stuck on her psp, that is Korela, inside the privacy of this room there's nothing that can peel her off from any of her gadgets, food and growling stomach can never weigh more than her abominable games.
Inside this square space where no watchful eyes can stare is where the worst of us yet are considered tru faces lie. A room bare of anything else other than our seats and a food table is the haven of our pretentious life.
Being a party of the five most adored person of the campus had never been an easy feat. Regaling of beauty that haunts even the dreamless sleeper and perceptions that defeat that of the keenest beast makes our lives both at the peak and at the bottom.
Our lineage ask nothing but of secrecy yet our very existence calls for attention and veneration. Our fathers and mothers as descendants of the Elves of Aleanathem abides to the base law of clandestineness. Without ever forgetting the dispute of thousand years ago, the Elves vowed to the life of cocealment from the human knowledge.
Man's forgetfullness being his strongest and weakest point brought about the biggest change. As we, the elves, stop supporting in human's daily living, they soon forgot our existence. Thus, as the clan of Aleanathem opt to step back into the world of human's we hid our identity of being the wise descendants of Casis and Nova.
We existed and lived like a human on the surface, being clad and enamored with pure love for nature as the only difference.
“Ingrid,” I looked up upon hearing Gare call my name. The cup that I was holding was left mid-air.
Gare sat on his chair with much gallant, his darken hair catching the morning sun glistening just like a mirror, a small face being framed by the same long hair covering most of his leaf-shaped ears. Amongst us five it was Gare who sported the much prominent Elvish ears, he wears piercings on each so as to pull the looker's eyes downward rather than the upper pointed tip. He crossed his legs and stared deeply into me.
“Yes?” Being an Elf myself I still can't help but be amaze of his beauty. I tried sipping again from my cup but with my full attention to Gare as I look back at him from under my lashes.
“You're turning 18 after two quarter moons, aren't you?” I caught the bottom of my tea cup by the smallest finger as I gently lay it back to the saucer.
“Yes, it's my eighteenth human year.”
“Have you talked about your arrangement back to Mirkwood with your honourable Ada?”
“I haven't seen father for the past weeks.” It's about a month now since I last talked to my Ada, he left at the first fullmoon. It's probably another trip to Mirkwood and I never really concerned myself about any journey he makes as long as he is safe to coming back. “What do you mean by 'back to Mirkwood'?”
“I see.” Gare murmured talking to himself.
Amaly who was still sitting beside me was still looking at her book but is nowhere near to reading. And I have the feeling that she understood what Gare was talking about.
“What's it about?” Suddenly my curiosity was running high.
“Stupid.” I heard Nimal said though when I looked at him his face was rather bugged.
“If your honourable Ada hadn't talk about it yet, perhaps there's nothing to talk about anymore as everything had been settled.” Gare gave me a reassuring smile, though the smile did not manage to climb up to his sublime eyes.
Rilyntylar
I meant to ask more but before I could manage to part my lips he was already standing and making his way to the door. Amaly folded her book and Nimal followed closely to Gare without meeting my look. Korela noticing the sudden movements around her looked up and with a frown turned off her psp and reveringly placed the said thing back to her bag of treasures.
“In your best behavior now.” Gare's clear voice resonated inside the room as he opened the two door.
With our tongue on our cheek we strut the hallways that was already empty of students meaning that the bell had already gone off but as we all know each and every student are in deep silence inside their rooms in hope to hear even our footsteps if not our voices.
But to no avail, we kept our quiet lull and soundless step, breathing as if not existing and moving as if we were floating. A thrill would have crept up their throats now and are shivering with the urge to run out and witness the five of us in full. But before they even weigh down the cons of such act we were gone from their possible sight. And one by one we slip into our classes as being highly priveledge.
~~~~~~~~~~

The day went by without a hitch and though Gare's question still lingered in my mind it was never brought up again. But as I was entering my car after class I saw him looking at me rather wearily from the window of the Biology Laboratory. I can't help but get more agitated.

I meant to race back up to him and asked more questions but my little kittens were already swarming around and I was in no mood to scratch their bellies.

Upon getting home I was met by Daeon at the main entrance.

Everyday after my human classes I would receive lectures from Daeon of the Elven History, Culture and Arts. These classes last up to the late hours of the night that doing any work for my human education is a chore though it is a hundred fold easier.

But today it seemed that Daeon isn't leading me to the study hall, instead she guided me to my honourable Ada's hall.

“Father's home?” I asked Daeon as she was about to knock on the white door.

Daeon's hand flew in the air, looking a bit hesistant to annouce my arrival. And again I saw the same face that Gare was wearing earlier, the same unreadable yet dejected faces.

I waited for her to say a word but just like Gare she remained passive and quiet.

“Lady Ingrid, Daugther of the Rilyntylar.” Daeon announced before finally opening the colossal door.

I closed my eyes and slowly walked into the room as the afternoon light flooded into the hall directly from across the door.

“Vedui'.” I bowed and opened my eyes to see the Elves inside the room.

“Vedui', Ingrid, my iell.” Ada's gentle eyes and hidden smile brought waves of emotions inside in me. Waves of emotion that are rather unusual. I am used to not seeing father for longer periods of time and though reuniting with him is a source of great happiness every time, this kind is something I'm not use with.

“Come, Ingrid.” Father reached out his hand as if summoning a lost child and I willingly came into his arms.

“Father.” I whispered as I smelled the scent of the earth and the sweet aroma of green tea from him which calmed all my qualms and eased the worries I've been receiving since this morning.

“How have you been?” His gentle demeanor never changed, since I was young and could remember, Father's face had always been the same. His face did not change one bit.

“I've been well.” I answered.

“That's good to hear.” Father lifted my chin and again gave me a smile. “Now that everyone of my precious sell is with me, I would like you to hear what I must say.” That was when I looked around and saw all my brothers, muindor, standing individually. Eruin, the eldest stood nearest to father, Bael the second, Kan the third, and Nethlan the youngest.
