The usual gang of idiots over at MAD Magazine have once again offered Huffington Post readers the first look at some of their political coverage from the issue that hits stands October 14th.

Last month they gave us a look at movie posters featuring Obama and McCain, but this time they've set their sights squarely on Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Just in time for her speech at the RNC, Sarah Palin is laughed at by the editors of MAD and the readers of Huffington Post:

Be sure to check out the fine print on the posters. It's all a disgustingly accurate laugh-riot.

Republican women were switching over to vote for Hillary, not because of her stand on the issues, but because they wanted a woman in the white house. Now that Sarah Palin is in the running, you will see many Democratic women voters switching over to vote for her, for the same reason. Her stance on the issues is not the number one priority on their list, getting a woman in office is. So right now McCain / Palin is way ahead. Yes, some republicans will refuse to vote for McCain / Palin because they will never accept a woman in the white house, but I believe women for a woman will outnumber men against a woman. And getting a woman in the white house is a bigger change than getting a man in the white house, even if he has some african-american roots. So by default, McCain / Palin is the ticket of change.

Any woman who votes for Palin because she is a woman and who doesn't consider the anti-female implications of Palin's anti-abortion (no exception even for rape and incest) stance is a fool, in my opinion. Perhaps there are lots of fools out there. If so, I fear for our country.

Talk about bizarre.I know of absolutely no Democratic woman who is idiotic enough to vote for McCain because Sarah Palin is a woman.I think you watch those morons on Fake News just a little too often.

I think more people actually look at issues. There might be some that vote based on the sex of the candidate, but those who vote based on issues probably greatly outnumber them.

The only thing McCain and Palin are way ahead on is lies. You're suggestion that McCain/Palin is the ticket of change is laughable.

I hate to say this, but I think you may be overestimating just how much the average voter really pay attention to details in these contests.

People really will vote for Palin because she's a woman. But more than that, they will vote for her because her platform is very much in line with the religious right.

The former contender for Miss Alaska (and previous supporter of Alaskan independence), who preaches abstinence-only education while forcing her knocked up underage daughter into a loveless marriage, is a poster child for everything that is clearly not thought through about the conservative religious right's political agenda. But, unfortunately, that makes no difference at all.

These are the same people who say "Who cares? McCain was a POW, so he must be good."

And the GOP is cynical enough to find an uninformed middle-aged christian backwoods american woman whom their primary demographic will see as "just like them".
