3G iPhone Ad vs Real World: A performance comparison

I love my iPhone. It's fast, very fast! I don't care if anybody says otherwise. And it's the best phone ever made in my opinion. For all you guys who think otherwise. I don't give a rat's ass. Don't by an iPhone then, get a windows mobile piece of crap phone and be happy with it. I really don't care, because: I LOVE MY IPHONE !!!!!

i hate apple, but honestly that real world 3g phone seems really slow...i live in America too, and I have a few friends with 3G iphones and theres are definitely faster than that...I even live on the outskirts of a 3G area in a small town and the 3G is better than this video.

but not nearly as fast as apple commercials ;)

Apple fanboys and girls seem to be reading these comments quite a lot. No one can say bad from their Apple products because there is nothing wrong with them. WRONG. Lots of things are wrong but users are usually blind to see obvious faults that they themselves have already gotten used to or they dislike other brand of products.

Such nonsense! I just tried everything that was advertised with my 1G iPhone on wifi and I nearly kept up; lagged by say a few seconds on the whole.

With edge I was a lot slower but still completed all my tasks before that 3g iPhone displayed in the video.

Now I am someone who despises Apple's marketing scheme (especially the I am a Mac one; why should vista be the focus of a Mac ad?) but this one I thought atleast showed off what the iPhone was capable off.

Pfft. Screw that. Clearly Apple is just trying to trick people! They should buy a two minute commercial and show everyone the load times.

That looks like a network issue with AT & T, that's how it loads when I'm on 2G, when it's 3G it's a lot faster (Australia).

Although American phone networks seem a bit behind, especially 3G and HSDPA.

ur all idiots... seriously. why don't you all go drink red bulls i saw on tv that it gives you wings... or hey lets get some pantene shampoo. i saw on tv that it makes your hair so strong that if you tie it to a medal pole it will rip it out of the wall. everything on tv is dramatized to make their product look superior. Apple's 3g iphone is not as fast as it is in the commercial. but its not as slow as the other guys phone either. I have one. never been that slow...
