Google is a good company they provide many usefull APIs to us developers but yes we need to make sure no one gains to much power on the net.


Do no evil is not bad motto if more companies had it maybe the world would be a better place...

Indeed, google uses ALGORITHMS, wich are pretty much vulnerable to various mispellings and proxies and such.
And even more, one must not blame google for indexing the web. People are putting stuff (private stuff) on the web, not google (except the DNA stuff, that's scary).
Google's power is _controlling_ what you see on the web.

And thanks for the intelligent replies, stuff that i rarely see on youtube ;)

So that means the people who do care about it don't matter. I'll thank you when that ignorance causes a Google version of 1984.

Honestly, I just want to rebel against Google if this happens. That would be hilarious...a search engine, owning the world.
