MTP Updater for the iriver clix / U10 / T10 / T30 / H10

1. Download and save the MTP Firmware updater utility version 2.2 from this link.
2. Unzip the downloaded file
3. Run the file "iriverFirmwareUpdater.exe" File.



4. The Intro screen starts the installation of the firmware (You must be connected to the Internet to do the firmware update)

   

   NOTE: For the H10 series of players, you must be in UMS Mode. (The T Series / U Series and iriver clix series of players do not require this) If you are not in UMS mode, you will see the following screen:

   

5. The Update Utility will automatically detect which type of player you have connected, Press "Next" to continue.

   

6. Next the utility will automatically determine the Current Firmware Version on your player, and what version of the Firmware the Utility will be installing. If you already have the latest version of the Firmware, you have the option to Recover the current version of the firmware. Press "Update" or "Recovery" to continue with the firmware Installation.

   

7. The computer must be connected to the internet during this step. The Update Utility will go out and download the latest version of the firmware for your player.

   

8. Once the firmware has been downloaded from the Internet. Your player may need to be formatted to install the latest firmware. Press "Next" to continue or "Cancel" to abort the format / firmware installation. If you get this prompt.
9. The player will be formatted and the new firmware will be installed on your player.
10. To complete the installation of the firmware, disconnect your player from the computer. Your player may turn itself off and restart a couple of times during the installation of the firmware.
