PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has not been able to find any video podcast of "Hot Daddy" still online, says Fahmi Fadzil.

The Communications Minister said any such video recording of the suspect, who allegedly advertised sexual services, could have already been taken down.

"MCMC received a report but when the officers investigated, they could not find the video.

"I also asked my office to look for it but there was none," he said on Wednesday (Feb 7).

It was reported that a content creator had invited "Hot Daddy" to their podcast, which created an uproar as it was seen as supporting the man's actions.

On Jan 26, 32-year-old Hasli Ikhwan Arif Zul Hasli, also known as Hot Daddy, and his two girlfriends pleaded not guilty for allegedly advertising sexual services on X.

He is alleged to have filmed himself having sex with women and made the videos available for a fee.

Fahmi reminded podcast creators to self-regulate as the government had yet to impose controls on such platforms.

"I call on podcasters to exercise caution and be reasonable. We have laws, culture and values," he said.
