Man’s body found in storm drain in Kota Damansara


PETALING JAYA: The body of a 45-year-old man has been discovered inside a storm drain in Kota Damansara.

Petaling Jaya Deputy OCPD Supt M. Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly said the body was found by a passer-by at 6.34am on Dec 20.

"Forensic officers on scene discovered the man's identity after checking the pockets of his trousers.

"His last known address is Gugusan Kemuning, Jalan Pekaka 8/1, Seksyen 8, Kota Damansara," he said in a statement on Monday (Dec 25).

Investigation showed that the man had been dead less than 24 hours before his body was discovered, he said.

"We urge those with information to contact Kota Damansara police station chief Asst Supt Mohd Nasir Mustapha at 011-32052062 or the nearest police station to assist with the investigation," he said.
