Enjoy Summer with Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

  • This evening is for adults 21 and older only. IDs must be presented on event night. (No one under age 21 will be permitted, including no children or infants.)
  • Visit your favorite animals & feed the giraffe herd!
  • Watch the sunset from the mountainside.
  • Ride the Sky Ride as the city lights sparkle.
  • Our generous restaurant and beverage partners donate their product samples for this important Zoo fundraiser. All samples are available while supplies last.

Highlights of Moonlight on the Mountain

What You Get

General admission tickets include:

  • Complimentary souvenir sampling cup and spork, which help us make this a waste-wise event.
  • All-inclusive beverage sampling from regional breweries, wineries, distilleries and coffee shops, while supplies last.
  • All-inclusive food sampling from regional restaurants, while supplies last.
  • Live bands throughout the Zoo.
  • Sky Ride tickets $5 per person at the Sky Ride cashier booth (Last ride up at 8 p.m. Be in line by 7:30 p.m.)
  • Most animal exhibits will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. (Animal exhibits close at 8 p.m.)

VIP early-entry tickets include:

  • VIP early admission from 5 – 5:30 p.m. for priority entry into the Lower Level African Lion and Encounter Africa sampling hubs.
  • The vendors in these hubs will open early, just for VIPs. (You’ll also be in a prime spot to access the rest of the event when it opens at 6 p.m.!)
  • Premium souvenir sampling cup.
  • Complimentary Sky Ride experience (Last ride up at 8 p.m. Be in line by 7:30 p.m.)

Event Details

– This evening is for adults 21 and older ONLY. A valid ID is required for admission; no exceptions. (No one under age 21 will be permitted, including children or infants.)
– Moonlight on the Mountain will take place, rain or shine.
– Advance tickets are required.
– No refunds available after Thursday, June 13, 2024.
– Dress for a fun night of dancing and walking up and down hills at the Zoo!
– Please remember to print or screenshot your e-ticket your e-ticket for admission to Moonlight on the Mountain.
– A cash bar will be available, in addition to all-inclusive sampling (while supplies last).
– Non-alcoholic beverages are included.
– Designate a driver, or better yet, don’t drive at all! Take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft.
