YesOn66@charter.net 8-66-4-2-VOTE-66, (951) 653-3500 Mike Kaspar, (949) 338-0646 Schwarzenegger and Jerry Brown Both Committed Strike-able Felonies When California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger smoked marijuana on-screen in the film "Pumping Iron," he committed an act that could have been prosecuted as a strike-able felony, had he been arrested and prosecuted for it. Former California Governor Jerry Brown, currently campaigning against Prop 66, has long been known to be a marijuana user, for which he could have received strike-enhanced sentences. Facts from the State of California, Department of Corrections, Data Analysis Unit: More prisoners are serving strike-enhanced sentences for marijuana offenses (393) than for murder (377), or for manslaughter (326), or for rape (372), or for kidnapping (223). 26 serve strike-enhanced sentences for 'other marijuana offenses,' including 2 serving 25-years-to-life. 212 serve strike-enhanced sentences for 'marijuana possession,' including 5 serving 25-years-to-life. 145 serve strike-enhanced sentences for 'marijuana sales,' including 28 serving 25-years-to-life. [Schwarzenegger and Brown had to buy their marijuana from someone, so they both contributed to these crimes being committed.] Would Schwarzenegger and Brown consider themselves "violent offenders" and "threats to public safety?" Not likely. Yet, these are some of the "violent offenders" that Schwarzenegger and Brown say would be "released" by Prop 66. If these two had been arrested and prosecuted for their law-breaking acts, it is likely neither would have become Governor, and even more likely that each would have been convicted of strike-able felonies under California's current three-strikes law. Which means they both would now have first-hand knowledge of the injustice of the current law, and would probably be campaigning for Prop 66 instead of against it. A vote for Prop 66 is a vote for fair and equitable justice! ******************** *****BUSHWHACKED!!***** *********************** http://www.pollingreport.com/wh04gen.htm http://www.electoral-vote.com/pred/ Greg Palast | 1 Million Kerry Votes Already Stolen http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/110204V.shtml
