Welcome to the online submission form for the ILGISA 2008 Fall Conference on November 5 - 6, 2008 at the Wetin Lombard Hotel, Lombard, Illinois. The Illinois GIS Association would like to invite your participation in its annual spring conference. The goal of the program is to identify common issues, solve shared problems, and inform Illinois GIS practitioners of significant GIS activity. The program is designed to be a working conference for the presenters and the attendees. To enhance the diversity of the program we are asking for your participation by submitting a presentation, workshop, poster or a project display.

These submission forms are for 1/2 to full day workshops on Monday, November 5 or short presentations on Tuesday, November 6. Sessions presentations are typically 20 minutes in length plus 5 minutes for your Q & A. Workshop presentations are either 3 or 6 hours in length.

Please have available your contact information (you will be the one contacted for all details in the future), as well as the names and titles of additional presenters, if applicable. You will also need a brief paragraph about your topic, the title of your presentation, length of time needed, and any AV needs. We do not require a formal abstract or lengthy paper describing your session - if further details are needed we will contact you directly.

All submissions will be reviewed by the planning committee. Presentations or workshops that market specific products and services will not be accepted. Case studies should be presented by the sponsoring organization with support provided by the Vendor as needed. Due to the number of submissions and the limited time available for sessions, we may not be able to accommodate all submissions. Presentations submitted will be selected based on topical relevance, audience interest, and time available. Although this submission does not guarantee inclusion in the program, your submission will be considered for this as well as subsequent conferences. Letters will be emailed late September as to the status of your submission.
