Images of portrait paintings gifted to the Societe Jersiaise by Miss A A Le Geyt of Torquay. The portraits were painted in 1773 and depict Captain Charles William Le Geyt and his first wife Elisabeth Shebbeare [see JWP 13/11/1937]. The images were produced from the negatives depicted in Contact Sheet 22 of Red Contact File 6 from the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive.

Negatives have been scanned at 1200 dpi and can be downloaded as high quality jpg files. The quality of the images is dependent on the condition of the original.
