FAIRBANKS, AK
(2008-05-27)
NPR special correspondent Susan Stamberg has one of the most well-known voices in public radio. She was the first woman on any network to anchor a national nightly news show, and has won every major award broadcasting has to offer. Now she reports on arts and cultural issues for NPR. Stamberg is visiting Alaska to give a free lecture tonight at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She recently sat down with KUAC's Libby Casey, and explained why she loves radio.
