CYBERJAYA: All 18 victims of the ammonia gas leak incident at a factory in Shah Alam are in stable condition, with some still receiving treatment, says Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad (pic).

He said that 10 victims were treated at Shah Alam Hospital, five at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang and the remaining three at Sungai Buloh Hospital.

"All the victims are stable. Fourteen only experienced mild symptoms and received outpatient treatment," he said after launching World Cancer Day 2024 at University of Cyberjaya on Saturday (Feb 17).

However, he said four victims, including two pregnant mothers were admitted for further treatment and monitoring in Shah Alam Hospital, and the two other victims in Sungai Buloh Hospital.

On Friday (Feb 16), 10 workers were rushed to the hospital for treatment after an ammonia gas leak at a factory in Perindustrian Bukit Raja, Section 7, Shah Alam.
