EcuFlash Definition File Master List

I realized today that I probably have the largest collection of Lancer definition files for EcuFlash. I've made definition files for all the users in the original EcuFlash thread (shoutout to Z_Lancer_man!!) when there weren't any for them to use to view their ROMs. So here's a file containing all the definition files I have. This thread should be a starting point for anyone using EcuFlash with their Lancer. Most will find the definition file they need here.

***These definition files only work with the newest versions of EcuFlash***

Extract the files inside to c:\program files\openecu\ecuflash\rommetdata\mitsubishi\lance r. This location is where the definition files reside for EcuFlash.

Here are the definition files included:

81870006 - 2003 LS, AT
81870015 - 2003 ES, AT
81900006 - 2003 OZ, MT

Enjoy!!

I don't think this is a USDM ROM. So I won't be able to properly decode it.

yeah i thought it was quite wierd that is was 512kb in size... if its a 4g94 engine you might be able to reflash your ecu with a different year model, that way you can change values... i flashed my brother 03 oz rom to my 02 es to test it and it works fine....

that link has a copy of my stock rom file. its 98720020 , i have flashed this to both my brothers oz and also tried taking his 03 oz file and flashing it to my ecu it works fine... i dont know for sure what it will do flashing it to yours because yours is not an american ecu, just be sure to copy your original file and save it to your computer, so you can flash your original back in case it doesnt work...

Can I assume that the naming conventions are the same as the Evo ROMs? For instance, is 81900016 the latest revision of 8190XXXX and can be flashed to any 8190XXXX ECU?

With all the patches out for the Evo ROMs, we are making a move to just update the most recent ROM for a certain car/ECU just to keep things simple. It might be a good idea to do the same for the Lancer ROMs.

Considering there are zero patches available for our ROMs I don't think this will be an issue. Nobody cares enough about our cars to modify the ROMs to our favor. We aren't cool enough to drive Evos...
