It’s all in the title. Emily in Paris follows American expat Emily Cooper as she discovers the City of Light after moving there for a new job. Upon arrival, she gets a little frazzled from the culture shock and gets lost more than once, but luckily that won’t happen to you. We’ve created the definitive guide to every filming location from the show to take you down the rues of the French capital with ease. Fair warning: This list may make you impulsively book a flight to Paris.

1. Place de l’Estrapade

In Episode 1, Emily moves into her new “Chambre de Bonne” in the Latin Quarter on the Place de l’Estrapade. It’s a square in the 5th Arrondissement of Paris on the edge of the Val-de-Grâce and Sorbonne districts.

Address: 75005 Paris, France

2. La Boulangerie Moderne

Inline image: La Boulangerie Moderne

If you want to follow Emily’s morning routine, you can pop on over to the real La Boulangerie Moderne, where Emily gets her daily bread or, shall we say, pain au chocolat. Emily makes this her resident patisserie in Episode 1.

Address: 16 Rue des Fossés Saint-Jacques, 75005 Paris, France

3. Place de Valois

Inline image: Place de Valois

Emily starts her new job at French marketing firm Savoir in Episode 1. The office can be found in Place de Valois, which is right next to antiques store Galerie Patrick Fourtin.

Address: Rue des Bons Enfants, 75001

4. Jardin du Palais Royal

Inline image: Jardin du Palais Royal

The Jardin du Palais Royal is Emily’s go-to work lunch spot, since it’s just around the bend from her office in the 1st Arrondissement of Paris. The tree-lined grounds of a former royal palace in the Rue de Valois are not only where Emily meets her new Paris bestie Mindy in Episode 1, but also are very close to the Louvre.

Address: 43 Rue de Valois, 75001

5. Le Jardin du Luxembourg

Inline image: Le Jardin du Luxembourg

Emily never fails to go for a morning jog, whether she’s in Chicago or Paris. The Jardin du Luxembourg in the 6th Arrondissement of Paris takes center stage as her running spot of choice at the top of Episode 2.

Address: Rue de Médicis - Rue de Vaugirard 75006

6. Café de l’Homme

Inline image: Café de l’Homme

In Episode 2, Emily attends her first work soirée for French parfumerie Maison Lavaux at the Café de l’Homme. She impresses the owner of the fragrance brand, Antoine Lambert, over a glass of Champagne in front of a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower.

Address: 17 Place du Trocadéro 75016

7. Les Deux Compères

Inline image: Les Deux Compères

The restaurant where Emily’s hot downstairs neighbor Gabriel works really does exist and is only two doors down from La Boulangerie Moderne. But Les Deux Compères is actually an Italian restaurant during non-filming hours called Terra Nera. As Emily learns in Episode 2, make sure to at least try the food before sending it back to the chef.

Address: 18 Rue des Fossés Saint-Jacques, 75005

8. The Panthéon

Inline image: The Panthéon

Emily breaks up with her Chicago dud of a boyfriend in front of the steps of the Panthéon in Episode 2. In the Sorbonne quarter, the Panthéon is an apt setting for Emily’s relationship to die, since it’s the final resting place for many of France’s most famous luminaries — Marie Curie, Voltaire, Louis Braille and Victor Hugo among them.

Address: Place du Pantheon, 75005

9. Pont Alexandre III

Inline image: Pont Alexandre III

In Episode 3, Antoine Lambert shoots his perfume commercial for Maison Lavaux’s new De L’Heure fragrance on-location at the Pont Alexandre III, one of the most ornate bridges along the Seine.

Address: Pont Alexandre III, 75008

10. Le Grand Véfour

Inline image: Le Grand Véfour

Le Grand Véfour is a restaurant that has served patrons in the galleries of the Palais Royal for the last 200 years. While Emily may have not been able to snag a table last minute to impress hotelier Randy Zimmer in Episode 4, at least Emily can come back for her November reso to celebrate the opening of his new hotel, Zimmer Paris.

Address: 17 Rue de Beaujolais, 75001

11. Café de la Nouvelle Mairie

Inline image: Café de la Nouvelle Mairie

Café de la Nouvelle Mairie is one of Emily and Mindy’s staple brunch spots for hot goss and hot cafés in the Latin Quarter. Remember in Episode 5 when Emily tells Mindy that she kissed Gabriel, only for his girlfriend Camille to come join them moments later? Yeah, this is the spot.

Address: 19 Rue des Fossés Saint-Jacques, 75005

12. L’Atelier des Lumières

Inline image: L’Atelier des Lumières

Emily, Camille and Gabriel visit the immersive Vincent Van Gogh exhibit at L’Atelier des Lumières during their night out in Episode 5. But you don’t have to fly all the way to Paris to see the special exhibit on the painter, as it’s a traveling installation that’s no longer in the City of Light. In fact, the exhibit is hosted by different venues around the world, with locations all over the US.

Address: 38 Rue Saint-Maur, 75011

13. La Maison Rose

Inline image: La Maison Rose

After a rough day at work with her snooty boss, Sylvie, in Episode 5 (even though, let’s face it, that’s pretty much every day for Emily at Savoir), Mindy takes Emily out to dinner at the perfectly pink La Maison Rose in Montmartre.

Address: 2 Rue de l'Abreuvoir, 75018

14. Place Dalida

Inline image: Place Dalida

In Episode 5, Emily stages the campaign for Hästens beds on Place Dalida, which is on the opposite end of Rue de l'Abreuvoir from La Maison Rose. How did she find this pretty little locale? After a night of Champagne-fueled revelry with her pal Mindy the night before. Who said living your life doesn’t come in handy at work!

Address: Rue de l'Abreuvoir, 75018

15. Café de Flore

Inline image: Café de Flore

In Episode 6, Emily meets Thomas, the snobby semiotics professor, at Café de Flore, which still stands today and really was a historical bastion of Parisian writers such as Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir. Guess he was right about one thing.

Address: 172 Bd Saint-Germain, 75006

16. Canal Saint-Martin

Inline image: Canal Saint-Martin

Emily, Thomas, Camille and Gabriel go for a scenic walk along Canal Saint-Martin in the 10th Arrondissement before dinner in Episode 6.

Address: Quai de Jemmapes, 75010

17. Lulu La Nantaise

Inline image: Lulu La Nantaise

This “great little tapas place in the 10th,” according to Gabriel, is a creperie in the 10th in real life. Like Les Deux Compères, Lulu La Nantaise also serves as Emily, Thomas, Camille and Gabriel’s double-date spot in Episode 6.

Address: 67 Rue de Lancry, 75010

18. Palais Garnier

Inline image: Palais Garnier

Emily has her Audrey Hepburn moment on the steps of the Palais Garnier, the Parisian opera house in the 9th Arrondissement of Paris. It’s a full night for Emily in Episode 6, as she kicks Thomas to the curb and bonds with fashion designer Pierre Cadault over Gossip Girl all before the Swan Lake ballet begins. We finally get to see inside this historic venue in Season 2 when Julien and Pierre Cadault oversee a fashion shoot at Palais Garnier.

Address: Place de l'Opéra, 75009

19. Hôtel Plaza Athénée

Inline image: Hôtel Plaza Athénée

In Episode 7, Hollywood starlet Brooklyn Clark stays at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris, which is nearby shopping mecca Avenue des Champs-Élysée.

Address: 25 Avenue Montaigne, 75008

20. Musée des Arts Forains

Inline image: Musée des Arts Forains

Emily hosts a party for the new Fourtier watch campaign in Episode 7 at Musée des Arts Forains, which is located inside the Pavillons de Bercy in the 12th Arrondissement of Paris. But this private museum is no ordinary venue, as the room features the attractions of an ancient funfair, including a merry-go-round that you can actually ride.

Address: 53 Avenue des Terroirs de France 75012

21. La Château de Sonnay

Inline image: La Château de Sonnay

Okay, so Camille’s family chateau that Emily visits in Episode 8 isn’t technically in Paris or Champagne. But you can find La Château de Sonnay in the Loire Valley, just a few hours outside of Paris. And, just like in the show, the French castle operates as a winery.

Address: Sonnay, 37500 Cravant-les-Côteaux, France

22. Ralph’s

Inline image: Ralph’s

In Episode 9, a fellow American expat takes Emily out to lunch at what she calls the “only restaurant in Paris where they’re not allowed to speak French.” That may be a bit of a stretch since brie is on the menu, but dining at Ralph’s restaurant, inside of Ralph Lauren, could hit the spot if you’re craving a cheeseburger.

Address: 173 Boulevard Saint-Germain 75006

23. Les Deux Stations

Inline image: Les Deux Stations

Emily and Mindy adore fashion, just not the onslaught of tourists who flock to Paris to ogle the couture on the runways of Fashion Week and crowd the tables at Les Deux Stations, where they go for drinks in Episode 10.

Address: 131 Boulevard Exelmans, 75016

24. The Pont des Arts

Inline image: The Pont des Arts

In Episode 10, Emily and her boss Sylvie deliberate how on earth they’ll stage Pierre Cadault’s show without a venue while traipsing along the Pont des Arts. (Mindy's band becomes a fan of performing here in Season 2.) Fondly known as the Lock Bridge, the Pont des Arts was internationally recognized for years as a destination for couples seeking to cement their long-lasting love, who would affix a custom lock to the bridge’s railing and then throw the key in the Seine. Don’t go trying to attach a lock on your next visit though. Doing so is now illegal.

Address: Pont des Arts, 75006

25. Monnaie de Paris

Inline image: Monnaie de Paris

The new guard became ringarde (aka “basic”) when Pierre Cadault took over Fashion Week in Episode 10. He staged his al fresco fashion show outside of the Monnaie de Paris, which ordinarily serves as a government-owned building that produces French coins.

Address: 11 Quai de Conti, 75006
