BoxingScene.com has been advised by multiple sources that Showtime is looking to put together a New Year's Eve double header.  Our sources have indicated to us that talks are on going for a possible clash that would pit IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud (23-0) against former two division champion Zsolt Erdei (33-0) in the main event with IBF junior middleweight champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage (31-4) facing Deandre Latimore (22-3) in the televised co-feature.

The card would be a co-promotion between Don King, who promotes Cloud and Bundrage, and Lou DiBella who promotes Erdei and co-promotes Latimore with Steve Smith's Rumble Time Promotions.

The likely landing place for the fight is Latimore's hometown of St. Louis, MO. When Latimore faced Cory Spinks in 2009 in a battle for hometown bragging rights (in addition to the then vacant IBF junior middleweight strap), nearly 10,000 fans showed up.

St. Louis native Ryan Coyne (18-0), who is ranked #7 by the WBA in the light heavyweight division is also likely to appear on the card. Coyne is also promoted by Don King and is a big ticket seller in his hometown.

Our sources say that the fights are far from finalized but that the talks are ongoing.
