Here is the first Nikon Z6 III camera mockup I received, placed next to the Nikon Z8 for comparison (click for larger view):
The upcoming/rumored Nikon Z6 III was described to me as a “mini-Z8 small flagship camera” (the Z8 was a mini-Z9, the Z6III should be a mini-Z8). I obviously do not know if this mockup is legit, but I have to mention that the Nikon Z8 mockup I posted a while back was 100% accurate:

I have another small update – the rumored Nikon Z6 III camera could be officially released in April – after the end of Nikon’s current financial year. Of course, we can get development announcements and teasers way before that. These are all rumors at that point and please treat them as such – do not sell your Z6 II camera yet (I will, at my own risk).
