Playstation Moved Me

To my mind Sony put on the best show at this year’s E3. At a later date I will discuss the epic games that are coming to the Sony consoles. Here however, I want to have a look at Playstation Move. It has buttons!

Well, the Sony entry into the motion control market will be hitting the stores on September 15th in the UK. The prices are in US dollars, but at least it will give you an idea of the rough price range.

PlayStation Move bundle comprising of a PlayStation Move motion controller, PlayStation®Eye camera, Sports Champions Blu-ray disc game and PlayStation Move demo disc for $99.99

PlayStation 3 Sports Champion Move Bundle, which including a PS3 system, PlayStation Move motion controller, PlayStation Eye camera, Sports Champions Blu-ray game and PlayStation Move game demo disc, will be available for $399.99

Stand alone PlayStation Move motion controller for the PS3 system will also be sold at $49.99

The new PlayStation Move navigation controller, which can be used alongside the motion controller for intuitive navigation of in-game characters and objects, will also become available on the same day at $29.99

I have to say that I am not that bothered about motion control in general, but this does look quite good. It does not really offer much new over the WiiMote, but it looks as though it will be more precise. Let the motion control wars begin!
