Revenge Night - Rolling Thunder
This is just fucked up and brutal and painful to watch and amazing. QT showed us what ultimately I felt was his primary inspiration for Kill Bill. This movie is tough to watch, though. Easier when you’ve seen John Carradine in the audience for some reason. It makes me wonder if QT invited Carradine to this to say “See, this is the kind of movie I want to make, and all you gotta do is show up just a little bit for it.” Grab a bunch of beer and watch it. It hurts, but I’ll be damned if it isn’t worth it.
