The 23-year-old provided some sunshine for supporters, blinding the crowds at Westpoint Shopping Centre Blacktown with her dazzling diamond engagement ring.

But it is the excessive trappings of her fame that have again left Goodrem a target for sledging, after turning up to the AFI awards in Melbourne with a power posse including her personal manager, publicist and security guard.

As one industry veteran remarked, "it made her look silly" considering stars such as Eric Bana, Anthony LaPaglia and Oscar-winner George Miller managed to make it up the red carpet without an entourage.

Delta = the most lovely person with such a beautiful personality. If she wants to bring a few people along with her on the red carpet, so be it. I'm so sick of these stories about a so-called 'entourage'. And in answer to a previous comment - she gets this attention because she is a genuine Aussie girl who is following her dreams and is kind to her fans along the way (unlike ALOT of other celebs).

Nah, she's probably just mates with them and fancied bringing them along. Why not, if you can afford it! I'm not fussed one way or the other about her, but if she works that closely with them they probably get along really well and they may have fancied coming so she used their professional status to get them in! Who knows who cares!
