I can’t help it, I am a gadget lover!

You can’t move in my living room for wires and random lumps of tech. Pride of place next to my large screen TV is the ugliest media player PC tower known to man. Like a giant cream coloured behemoth, it may not look good, but it serves a purpose. It lets me do all sorts of wonderful things on the big screen (not that my main PC is less than five foot away)

Anyway, those clever guys over at Plextor have announced some new tech solutions that have caught my interest. Could I wrestle back some space in my living area and make it look a bit sexier?

First and foremost is the PlexMedia networked media player, the ideal candidate to replace my ugly PC solution. The addition of the PX-B12OU external BD-ROM drive makes this media player even more attractive. Yeah, I have a PS3 for watching Blu-Ray movies, but I would much rather use this. But then I am the person who has two DVD players wired up to the TV, just in case I want to record to DVD whilst watching a DVD (ok, don’t mention the fact that I could watch a DVD on the media centre, Xbox360 and PS3. I can’t help it, I am an addict)

Well, this is certainly going on my Xmas list. Then I am going to have a chat with Santa about my colossal electricity bills.
