Imho, parents should be able 2 decide 4 their babies whether or not 2 excercise this right. If the parents are Jewish, then the parents believe it to be best - it is not a risky procedure.I believe no1 should if their beliefs do not support it - to each his own should be appl'd here. The health benfts aren't enough 2 make it a med. neces'ty, but they r there - it lowers the risk of cerv. cancer in the partners of heterosex'l circ.d males. What's the point of coming on here to insult people?

Circumcision should be the choice of the individual, not their parents (especially since it's a permanent, medically unnecessary and painful surgury that the infant can't consent too). Forcing a baby to be circumcised is unethical and child abuse. Doctors that do it violate their oath to "first do no harm". If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Please! I am a registered nurse and the mother of two boys. They, as well as their father, are circumcised. No, it is not medically neccessary, but it does have benefits. What about all the people who get their infant daughters ears pierced

come on as a nurse you should know medically, you cannot compare removal of a boys prepuce to a girl's ear piercing.

It would be more like removing a girl's clitoral hood ,which is illegal in the USa,so yes they should both be illegal ,why be sexist?

Hahaha! WOW! You really take this seriously, don't you? OK, so you don't think piercing is mutilation? "Mother nature" didn't put holes in babies ears. Yep, stupid "hill billy" Americans with "shit schools". Wonder why we have so many immigrants, both legal and illegal. Good luck in your quest to stop stupid Americans from circ. their sons!
