Wow! 17! A good eight years before Ziggy stormed the world! Actually, considering that it was only 1964 and LONG hair, hair as long as David's was here, didn't become poplular '67 or'68. His hair was decidedly longer in '64 than the Beatles' was. He was trail blazing even back then. By the way, what's our boy been up to lately? Is he recording? Haven't really heard a thing since the end of the Reality Tour. Anyone out there know anything?

17 year old David Jones (Bowie) was interviewed on BBC Tonight programme by Cliff Michelmore as the founder of The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Long-haired Men. I think he actually calls him Davey?
