Queen's Answer to the Address about Privateers:
The Lord Steward acquainted the House, "That he
and the other Lords with White Staves had attended
Her Majesty, with the Address; and Her Majesty was
pleased to return this Gracious Answer ; (videlicet,)
That She would take all the Care in it She could."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Address of this
House, of the Three and Twentieth Instant, and Her
Majesty's most Gracious Answer thereunto, be forthwith printed and published.
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, to
robe.
After some Time, the House was resumed.
Queen present:
Her Majesty being seated on Her Royal Throne,
adorned with Her Crown and Regal Ornaments, attended with Her Officers of State, the Peers being also
in their Robes, commanded the Gentleman Usher of
the Black Rod to let the Commons know, "It is Her
Majesty's Pleasure, that they attend Her presently, in
the House of Peers."
Who being come, with their Speaker; and after
making a Speech to Her Majesty, in relation to the
Money Bills passed, and to be passed, gave the Salt Bill
to the Clerk of the Parliaments; who brought it to the
Table; where the Clerk of the Crown read the Title of
that and the rest of the Bills following; (videlicet,)

upon Salt, and for the better Payment of Debentures
at the Custom-house."

"My Lords and Gentlemen,
Queen's Speech.
"I cannot conclude this Session, without repeating
My hearty Thanks to you all, for your great Care of
the Public, and the many Marks you have given of
your Duty and Affection to Me.
"And I must thank you, Gentlemen of the House of
Commons in particular, both for the Supplies you
have given to support Me in this necessary War, and
the Provisions you have made for the Debts contracted
in the former.
"Your great Justice, in making good those Deficiencies, will be a lasting Honour and Credit to the Nation. I with the Difficulties they have brought upon
us, may be a Warning to prevent such Inconveniencies
for the future.
"I must recommend to you all, in your several Countries, the Preservation of the Public Peace, and a due
Execution of the Laws.
"I shall always with, that no Difference of Opinion
among those that are equally affected to My Service,
may be the Occasion of Heats and Animosities among
themselves. I shall be very careful to preserve and
maintain the Act of Toleration, and to set the Minds
of all My People at Quiet: My own Principles must
always keep Me entirely firm to the Interests and
Religion of the Church of England, and will incline
Me to countenance those who have the truest Zeal to
support it."
And then the Lord Keeper, by Her Majesty's Command, said,
"My Lords and Gentlemen,
Parliament prorogued.
"It is Her Majesty's Royal Will and Pleasure, That
this Parliament should be prorogued to Tuesday the
Seventh Day of July next: And this Parliament is
prorogued accordingly to Tuesday the Seventh Day
of July next."
