      Alright, so there have been numerous threads with people asking the same questions ...

      How do I make more cash?
      How do I maximize my profit (same as more cash)?
      How do I get private buyers [goods], Kick?
      How do I get private buyers [gold], Kick? <-- Check post #2

      Alright, lets start out with:

      Q: How do I make more cash?
      A: Simple --> convert your goods into other goods that are in high demand.

      Q: What is in demand on my server?
      A: Check out Trade chat, check out the Auction House.

      There will always be a demand for gems especially with a major patch (JC)
      There is currently a high demand for glyphs, as well as new glyphs come cata (Inscription)
      There is still a demand for potions / flasks as people are experiencing the new raid lockout (Alchemist)

      Q: So what exactly does that mean, Kick?
      A: Gems --> You buy big and cut / resell (micro manage) or you sell your gems and ore (which is prospected and you usually get gems from it) to someone who can micro manage. You will generally not make as much money this way, but its less of a hassle, especially if you have 3+ bots per server.

      Q: What gems sell the best on my server?
      A: Again, its all on the Auction House, I can't tell you whats best on your server, but +20 Int & Str are very popular on mine (Cardinal Rubies). There are JC guides out there, please look for them.

      Herbs:

      Q: You mentioned Inscriptionists & glyphs
      A: Yes, yes I did! Inscriptionists can easily convert your herbs into pigments and then into ink! They then make Darkmoon Fair cards (level 200 atm) and more popular --> Glyphs! Glyphs have been upped from 1 ink each to 3 inks each. Ink of the Sea is in extremely high demand on my server atm and people pay big $$ for it as its scarce.

      Q: What glyphs sell the best on my server?
      A: Again, its all on the Auction House. I can't tell you whats best on your server & I don't micro manage glyphs as I have private buyers.

      Q: You mentioned Alchemists and Potions / Flasks
      A: Yes, yes I did! Alchemists have 3 different areas to train in: Potions Mastery, Elixirs & Flasks (Elixir Mastery), Transmutation Mastery.

      All 3 are very, very important depending on how you (or your buyer(s)) micro manage your products.

      Potion Masters --> A lot of "elite" people use potions for raiding as an extra buff (ie: potion of speed = mini heroism) or some of the lesser noobs need potions of HP or Mana. There are also other potions used for various purposes, depending on the need -- if you micro-manage potions, you will need to get into contact with several raiding guilds offering them deals (ie: cata) or a few key members offering them deals. (You get procs from potions -- up to 5x normal)

      Elixir Masters --> Flasks -- anyone who is worth their salt will use flasks when they raid, point blank. Flasks will always have a need, especially with more and more people raiding, longer and longer (new lockout system). Again, if you have super-bulk, find raiding guilds to sell to, and of course stick some up on the AH as well. (You get procs from elixirs -- up to 5x normal)

      Transmutation Masters --> This is of course good for transmuting your daily epic gem, but you can also transmute saronite bars into titanium bars this way and get a chance at procs on transmutations

      Ore:

      Titanium ore currently prospects (JC's do this) into rare+epic gems with a chance at a titanium powder bi-product. The bi-product is used to buy JC patterns (10 powders = 1 token)

      Saronite ore currently prospecs (JC's do this) into uncommon and rare gems -- no bi-product powders.

      If you have bulk Saronite ore and no one wants to buy it, simply smelt it and sell it to a vendor, the bars vendor for 25g / stack (12.5g / stack of ore after they're smelted). If anyone is selling ore for less than 12.5g / stack, they're a fool, end of story.

      Other professions!

      If you, or someone you know, has other professions such as blacksmith, these are great to keep on hand at the beginning / middle of expansions so that they can convert your bars into goods and to be re-sold. Also sometimes blizzard makes it so that if you make something out of bars, it actually sells to the vendor for more than the bars do! I think it was the cobalt cleaver? or something that best made this example. Blacksmiths also make "eternal belt buckles" that give you a gem-slot in your belts

      Engineers -- they're good for farming the engineering nodes, but I really haven't found "great uses" for engineering as a whole-buyer. They do make guns and that type of thing for hunters -- so if they have the pattern for guns / bows / crossbows, and there's a demand, go for it!

      Leatherworkers -- If you have a HB toon farming skins all day long, its worth it to invest in a leatherworker, but i've found that you make more money from ore / herbs vs leatherworking.

      Tailoring and Enchanting is more of an HB / Auctionhouse farmer. There are guides for that.

      Micro Manage / Maximize Profits!

      Now, If you decide that you want to micro-manage everything above by yourself -- you will need a few level 80's on your main account (per server):

      JC / xx + private gbank 1

      Alch (elixir) / Inscript + Private gbank 2
      Alch (potion) / xx
      Alch (xmute) / xx

      I recommend that 1 of the xx's be a miner if you need a smelter, if not, the JC should be able to do most of the work.

      put your ore / eternals / gems into gbank 1
      put your herbs / lotus / life eternals into gbank 2

      Do all that you need to do with your alchemist and stick it on the AH / cod it out as needed
      Do all that you need to do with your JC, keep extra stuff laying around and check this toon multiple times a day as many people will buy 20-100 gems at a time (any raider knows this) especially if the gems are cheap and in high-demand.

      After your Alchy and JC are good to go and you have extra herbs that you need to get rid of, log back onto the inscript and use the GB "crafting" button to mill your herbs -- go watch tv or clean or make food. Come back in 10-15 minutes, pull more herbs out and mill them too, or if you're done, make them into inks and continue what you were previously doing. AH / CoD as needed.

      This goes the same with your ore. Send what you need to the Transmuter (or xfer it via gbank 1) and then stick that onto the AH / CoD it as needed.

      ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I'll come back to this section when I have read over it for continuity purposes

      Q: How do I get private buyers [goods], Kick?
      A: There are a few ways!

      I find private buyers a few ways:

      Guildies, Friends,
      People spamming trade WTB xx in bulk, sticking a lot of xx onto the AH and manually checking who bought my stuff via the mail (I check the top name of every 7) - if the same name pops up a LOT, I send them mail with a small advertisement / deals and ask them if they would like to earn some cash... Sometimes I get a bite, sometimes I don't. But I always ask them to /friend me, and I /friend them and put a note beside their name stating what they bought and approximately how much they bought. You can also ask your raid members if they want to buy anything, or: /ra WTS xx @ $$ / stack, pst -- XX bulk @ $$ / stack, ## stacks.

      Ask questions to your bulk buyers. Do they have a JC, Inscriptionist, Alchemist(s), do they know any friends that need bulk amounts, contrary to believe, farmers and micro-managers are generally quite chatty and will talk your ear off. The more private buyers, the better. Also if you have a super-high demand, stick another bot on your server.

      1 Key thing to always tell people that ask this question "Where does this stuff come from" or "How do you get so much" -- I simply state "Please don't ask that question if you want these great deals" ... and they say "I understand" ... if they ask "Why not" I state again "Please don't ask that question :)" and they usually get the hint by then. If its a buddy of yours that you know personally... you can tell them in Vent that you're botting... but I'm sure they already know / suspect.

      Also, read the quote below (from another thread) -- even out of context, I think you will get the picture.
      If this guide helped you, hit that +rep button

      Note: If you have any problems with GB (or HB) you need to post a log with your problem. This is not a *new* concept. We hear all day long "XXXX isn't working, here is a snippet of code" ... The whole log is needed. If its more than 1MB, then zip it and upload it.

      After you have explained the problem in depth + told us how to re-created the problem (when applicable) + provided a log, then you'll have the best chances of having a fast recovery to botting again.

      How do you upload a log? Click [Go Advanced], scroll down to Attachments -- [Manage Attachments] button, click that, click [browse] and get the log from called Debug.html (GB) or HB/logs/xx xx xx PM.log (HB), click [Upload], once that is done, close the popup window and then click post reply

      Private Buyers [Gold]:

      Many people want gold & they don't want their accounts banned, so they look for legitimate players (ie: us botters) to supply gold at / around the same price that the gold brokers sell for.

      Q: So how do you get private buyers, Kick?
      A: Well there are various ways, depending on the competency of your realm

      When a noob in /2 asks for gold, simply state:

      /2 Sure, i'll give you 1000g if you simply paypal me $5 (or you can say 10k for $50, etc) and sometimes people will bite (especially in the evening)

      /2 WTS 15000g
      <wait 1 minute for trolls>
      /2 er, WTS XX item 15000g xD (xx item being a bike or some rare pet or item) <--- sometimes you get bites on this such as "how much"

      The best thing to do is invite them to instant msg you, or sign onto your vent and talk / use the text chat

      You can join a GDKP run and ppl who are poor or complain "damn I just busted 20k on H DFO" ... you state "I can give ya 20k for $100 haha" and some ppl will PM you if you're serious, or ask you if you are... or say "how do we get money to u?" and you always always always always take the next bit of your conversation OUT OF GAME and onto vent / vent text / messengers / email

      You can post on your guild forums nicely if they support that type of thing...
      You can post on mmowned.com or other reputable boards with WTS Private gold on XX server, $$/k obo. PM / msg me @ xxxxx@xxxx.xxx

      There are lots of ways to spread the word if you want private buyers! Back in DAoC I used to sell a lot of platinum (1000g = 1 platinum) to friends and since I was 16, I didn't have a CC / bank acct / paypal, etc ... so I had them buy items from newegg for me and have them mailed to my house ... I built 2 computers that way :)

      Feel free to reply to this thread and i'll implement your thoughts into my 2 posts as needed.

      Third post saved for Kick

      Mods -- can you change the Thread Name from [Goods] to [Goods + Gold]? I tried to, and it won't change the thread's display name

      Thanks

      Macro's:

      Mass Deposit:
      /run for b = 0, 4 do for s = 1, GetContainerNumSlots(b) do if MerchantFrame:IsShown() then break end UseContainerItem(b, s) end end

      Mass Withdraw:
      /run for i = 1, 98 do if MainMenuBarBackpackButton.freeSlots == 0 then break end AutoStoreGuildBankItem(GetCurrentGuildBankTab(), i) end

      Sell all Saronite Bars:
      /run local p,N,n=0 for b=0,4 do for s=1,GetContainerNumSlots(b) do n=GetContainerItemLink(b,s) if n and string.find(n,"Saronite Bar") then N={GetItemInfo(n)} p=p+N[11] UseContainerItem(b,s) print("Sold: "..n) end end end print("Total: "..GetCoinText(p))Other Macro's:

      http://www.mmowned.com/forums/ui-macro-discussions/248228-macro-withdraw-all-guild-bank.html

      WITHDRAW ALL FROM GUILD BANK (SPECIFIED ITEM)
      /run for t=1,GetNumGuildBankTabs()do for s=1,98 do local l=GetGuildBankItemLink(t,s)if l and strfind(l,"YOURITEM")then SetCurrentGuildBankTab(t)_G[format("GuildBankColumn%dButton%d", ceil(s/14),s%14)]:Click("RightButton")end end end

      WITHDRAW ALL FROM GUILD BANK (GREENS)
      /run for t=1,GetNumGuildBankTabs()do for s=1,98 do local l=GetGuildBankItemLink(t,s)if l and strfind(l,"cff1eff00")then SetCurrentGuildBankTab(t)_G[format("GuildBankColumn%dButton%d", ceil(s/14),s%14)]:Click("RightButton")end end end

      DEPOSIT/TRADE/MAIL ALL ITEMS (SPECIFIED)
      /run for b=0,4 do for s=0,22 do l=GetContainerItemLink(b,s) if l and l:find("YOURITEM")then UseContainerItem(b,s) end end end

      DEPOSIT/TRADE/MAIL ALL ITEMS (GREENS)
      /run for bag=0,4 do for slot=1,GetContainerNumSlots(bag) do local texture,itemCount,locked,quality=GetContainerItemInfo(bag,slot) if quality==2 then UseContainerItem(bag,slot) end end end

      So if you want to deposit all Saronite Ore into your mailbox / gbank, you simply use this macro:

      /run for b=0,4 do for s=0,22 do l=GetContainerItemLink(b,s) if l and l:find("Saronite Ore")then UseContainerItem(b,s) end end end
