Is anyone surprised that Red Dead has maintained the top spot? The game is actually sold out in most stores. Maybe we will be seeing a mass Red Dead Redemption gaming session during the World Cup instead of watching the football? Ok, maybe not.
New entries this week include the hugely popular UFC 2010 game, which hits the chart at number two thanks I am sure to the massive ad campaign. Blur has also been well publicised, but only managed 14. On the flip side of the coin, Alpha Protocol from Sega has had very little coverage in comparison to Blur and UFC, yet has managed to come straight in at 13.
Otherwise, we are mostly seeing movement to accomodate these new entries. Next week will see only SBK X having a chance of hitting the chart, although the new Sims 3 expansion, Ambitions, may well make an entry.
More charts next week.
