Dear Friends of CTIC,

Happy New Year to all!

CTIC starts 2024 with a bang--two public events in January and one in February. On January 31 is Paternalistic Artificial Intelligence: The Case of Climate Change, the fourth workshop in the AI and Climate Change: Global Sustainability in an Era of Artificial Intelligence workshop series presented by Penn Program on Regulation and co-sponsored by CTIC. Additionally on January 31 is Legal Models for Psychedelics: Ethical, Clinical, and Practical Implications co-presented by Penn Medical Ethics & Health Care Policy. And on February 2, the Journal of Law & Innovation's annual symposium, Antitrust at a Crossroads: The Challenge of Digital Platforms, will take place. More information is below.

We invite you to take a look at CTIC's 2022-2023 annual report (link below), a retrospective of the center's people, events, projects, and other accomplishments in the 22-23 academic year.
