Hi, Reedies,

Carl Weiner '73 is reading from his new book of poetry on June 4th from 7 - 8 p.m., place TBA.

There is a Reed authors' reception/book signing at the Bookstore scheduled for Saturday, June 7th, from 3 - 4. If you would like to participate, please contact Jim Shugrue (jim.shugrue@reed.edu).

The Class of '73 has just added a second faculty guest to our Class Dinner. Chemistry Professor Arthur Glasfeld will join us, along with Professor of History and Humanities Ed Segel. Prof. Segal will also be speaking at our class activity on Saturday, discussing "Aspects of the Vietnam War: An Historical Perspective."

To date we have more than 200 people registered for Reunions. Please sign up today and encourage your classmates to register for Reunions at http://web.reed.edu/alumni/reunions/.

We continue to fine tune the schedule, so check out http://web.reed.edu/alumni/reunions/index.html for the latest information. The full Alumni College musician's workshop has also been posted. The latest event to be confirmed is a Nuclear Reactor Tour and Open House on Saturday, which will feature a tour of the facility followed by an open house for past nuclear reactor workers and other interested alumni.

The following classes have confirmed their faculty guests for the Class Dinner on June 6th:

50th /1958 John Pock and Joe Roberts and Marguerite Cohen
35th /1973 Ed Segel and Arthur Glasfeld
25th /1983 Tony Angell and Lena Lencek

Please sign yourselves up for Reed-A-Palooza Reunions 2008, June 3-8 and encourage your classmates to do so, too!
