Grisaille Enamel - Shades of Detail
Enameling
March 18-24, 2007
Instructor: TBA
Tuition: $442.00
Grisaille is an expressive art form in which a finely-detailed image is achieved through successive layering of white enamel onto a black enamel background, giving the design both depth and form. Experience this Renaissance process while gaining skills that can be applied to other enameling techniques. Students should be able to create one or more unique ornaments suitable for jewelry settings. Experience in drawing, an interest in design, and good eyesight or vision enhancers recommended.
