Mel - Just wondering, are the headliners perforated hardboard with holes in the the original size and pattern, or are they covered hardboard?

I'm sure that the 1958 Chrysler 2-door hardtops (the 300-Ds and New Yorkers) have a different headliner shell - there's a cloth covering glued or heat-sealed to the shell - but are the strips the same? On these cars, there are two plastic chromed strips run from from from front to back, roughly dividing the headliner into thirds. I've gone through a few websites, like www.59fury.com, and not yet found a pic showing the entire headliner. The one below is the best I have found - I have a pic somewhere on my home laptop of the 300-D headliner that I'll try to add later on.

Here's the pic of what I've been told is an original 1958 Chrysler 300-D headliner - similar to the Fury headliner, which a FWDLKer told me is NOT an original headliner. The strips do look similar.
