I've "hacked" in two enhancements to the user data transform exit
example in my nonexistant "spare time". Enhancements are:
1) Completely takes control away from LPR when processing a spooled file
. This avoids the buffer overflow problem when using LPR and the user
data transform while sending a large spooled file with no page range set.
2) Added support for finishing operations of stapling for IBM printers
4324, 4332, and 4340; stapling and hole punching support for IBM
printers Infoprint 1130 and 1145.

Note that I was only able to test to an Infoprint 1145, thus the support
for the 43xx printers may not work (different PJL environment variables
and values).

If you are interested in trying this new version repost here with a
e-mail address (one I can "figure" out) I can send a savf to.

I got to thinking maybe it would be better to replace the save file in
this Support line knowledgebase document # 12594243

http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/acf2ee1e9d64b16e8625680b00020389/584a2dee8678698386256624004b527e?OpenDocument

I'm not sure replace is the right thing to do. According to the DB
entry, the version there is compiled for V3R7. While it is a bit out of
date for some fixes, it does provide page-range capability for releases
I can nolonger compiler for. The version I have "advertised" is only
good for V5R2 and later. Thus those who are on V5R1 or earlier would
not be able to use it.

I will pass on your suggestion to the person(s) who manage those DB
entries and see about adding the verion I have compiled as an additional
download option. Perhaps they will even add some of the details
regarding the finishing operations and how to activate/use them.
