When using the Carfax website to look for vehicles, you can make a favorites list. When you look at your full list of saved cars the main screen shows where the car is located. Great, but it doesn't list the "version" of the car, SE SLT, etc. You have to click into each car, when you do the location is not listed. So you can't take a screenshot of the car. Then you click the back button and you go to the main search screen instead of back to your saved cars. Thanks for making my life harder instead of easier. Maybe the web designers could use the website to see how user friendly it is before launching. Use other search website that are out there and better.

When the other day to get a value estimate on my truck for a trade-in...they said my transmission was not good... I took it to my truck dealer and had my transmission looked at my own expense and they said it was perfect. You would think that the people that reviewed the cars would be more careful on what they tell their future customers. Not nice... they lied... Thank Goodness I had my transmission checked by a dealer who makes my truck.

Takes no effort to correct massively incorrect mileage incorrectly reported by libe service. Keeps giving runaround why they cannot correct. Totally irresponsible, does not care if their incorrect reports hurt the consumer.

I have tried to trade in my car and was surprised to discover there is a severe accident on my report that I clearly never had. I submitted a form to them and a statement from my insurance but have yet heard from them. This is a completely flawed system to have this much power over value of a car and have no way to contact them to get something of this significance corrected.

Many showrooms Like silver star motors are playing and cheating people. They put Lexus with min miles and affordable price but actually they don’t have those cars and when you call them they says it’s sold and then they keep irritating you about other non famous cars and higher prices because aware of those scammers. If someone can Report Carfax please.

I never received the report. Entered all required information and paid for the report. I've emailed twice for a refund and have received no response. I was able to do a VIN number search and found the information on the car's history for free. Total scam.

I pulled up the review and was really upset for paying for this when services that I know I had personally done on my car were not included in the list of services. Very disappointing. I would not use them again.

I bought a used 2003 Corvette from a Chevrolet dealer in Nov 2007. With it I received a clean Carfax report showing no accidents/damage. 16 years later, Dec 2023, I was attempting to trade my 2003 on a newer model. The dealer ran the Carfax and it showed an insurance entry of an accident and total loss in May of 2002. This was 18 months PRIOR to my purchase, and not reflected, but now, 16 years later the entry shows. The car has not been in any accident and certainly never totaled. To further back this up it has been titled in 4 states since the supposed incident, and all titles are clean and NOT salvage titles.

I have written to Carfax twice, presenting the supporting documentation, and received no response. Who made Carfax God in this arena? Not only are they wrong and incompetent, they have shown they they just don't give a damn. They don't even give you an option to call and speak to a representative. Everything must be done online! There has to be a better way! My next step, since I now have a car I can't sell due to Carfax ineptitude, is to contact a lawyer!

I am going to call out Lindsay resolution "manager" on this case. I have been going back and forth since September. It is now December. The way I found out about my Carfax report was I was trying to sell my car. I am trying to get inaccurate information off my report. It just amazes me how someone can put something on your report and they won't tell you who put it on there. Everything she wanted I provided her with. This was bringing down the value of my car. She really didn't care. While I was selling my car I told them about the Carfax report and I put in a dispute. They saw that I did and laughed. They said, "They will never take it off no matter what you do." How can they get away with this?

CARFAX was sending me reports for the last six months because the dealership realized they sold it to me 3 &1/2 years ago. I never requested it. So the reports tell you your tire pressure, next time service is needed, & TRADE IN VALUE. August the report said the trade in value was about $73000. September the report said about $ 70,000. Now, with a figure like that I was interested. My big mistake was I didn’t print them out and bring them with me to dealership. Hell, I Didn’t even save them. So I settle on a car, and price, then the manager (haha) says he wants to appraise it, I give him the keys, 10 minutes latter, the salesman comes in. He proceeds to ask me what do I want for it. I said I thought the manager was getting me a number, he said yes, but what Do I expect? I said “I know, your manager wants me to say $10,000," he kinda laughed, and walked out.

Here comes the manager with a CARFAX report for October. He proceeds to Show me CARFAX LIARS says the trade in value was only $58,900. I told him about Sept. report said about $70,000. I said to him, when I get home, I’m gonna shoot the first fox I see. He got mad and walked out. I got up and started to walk. The salesman grabs me and says, What do you expect to get, I told him to throw out that CarFax, I now want $76,000. He then asked what’s the least, I told him $75,000 and he writes that down, I said $76,000. Now the dance between him and the manager and myself goes on. I nearly left about Four times. After bickering, I ended up getting $66,000. Now I get home, I find I didn’t print or save them reports, so I'm back and forth with CarFax Support, calling the liars, they refuse to give me copies of August and September just soI could take them back to the dealer. Never trust CARFAX. Liars.
