Jimmy CarterMOBILE, Ala. — Alabama will host three political heavyweights on the same day with former presidents George W. Bush and Jimmy Carter, as well as former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, at separate events.
Bush will speak this evening at the University of Mobile's annual leadership banquet at the Mobile Convention Center.
On the same day, Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, are being honored by Habitat for Humanity in Birmingham, where he will join workers at a home-building and repair project.
Palin is visiting Montgomery to speak at a fundraiser for Faulkner University.
